Tina Turner "That Girl Had Wings!"

I watched a documentary on Tina Turner after I was commissioned to paint her portrait. I had a color palette she wanted and the size. I was already a fan of Tina's but as with all of my commissioned pieces, I do a deep dive into the subject and I always end up learning so much more. Tina was a true legend. One interviewer recalled seeing her on stage for the first time, he was there to see Ike, but when he saw Tina on stage perform he said, and I quote "That girl had wings!" That was it. I heard that exclamation and I knew I'd give Tina 3D wings, not just any wings, but Rock'n Roll Wings! I used plaster I make from marble dust, painted them and gilded them own gold and filled them up with crushed glass, crushed mirror, and the most gorgeous Swarovski's volcano color shifting crystals. Of course the Queen of Rock had to have her crown too and a 3D diamond stud earring.
